Thanks so much for this book! On a recent drive from the Bay Area to San Diego, I relied on the information to save time and money. Kadi is an old (16) yellow lab and she likes her comforts. Using a map and this book, I was able to pick the best hotels along our route. Weight restrictions vary greatly, as does price per night/stay. A friend gave this to me as I travel a lot with my dog. I found the book easy to use and read and policies were pretty accurate. I thought the comments on the special amenities were interesting and want to take my dog to a place with room service for him!!! Not that my dog isn't spoiled. Size limits were helpful as I have a LARGE dog and some places only take 15lbs or less...I will keep it in my car and won't leave home without it.
Did not include a lot of places I know about. Look's like they just sent out a survey to all hotels/motels, without any research.
